Erika Natalie Herrera Montero, 27 years old Mexican multidiciplinary circus artist
Stage name: Erika Cirque
My love for the circus began when I was 14 years old. I started my training at Circus Varieté, a small circus school in Cancún, my hometown. From the very first day, I knew I had found the place where I truly belonged.
I spent four years studying there, learning a variety of circus disciplines such as juggling, unicycling, and aerial arts, with trapeze as my main act.
At 18, I moved to Puebla, Mexico, to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Circus and Performing Arts at Universidad Mesoamericana (2017-2020). I graduated specializing in dance trapeze, and soon after began performing in renowned theaters and luxury hotels across Mexico.
Always eager to grow and challenge myself, I’m constantly open to learning and being part of new projects. I’ve continued my training with international artists like Darya Vintilova and Carola Cerrano, and have taken on contracts around the world, carrying with me the greatest love of my life: The circus.
