eleni edipidi

Originally from Greece, Eleni trained at Laban (MA in European Dance Theatre Practice) and has a BA in Dance and Visual Art from MMU. Since graduating, Eleni has established herself as an award- winning choreographer who has built a national reputation for creating innovative and quirky visual dance works.

Eleni is a freelance performer, teacher and choreographer. She has collaborated and performed internationally with choreographers such as Company Campo (Belgium), Marie-Gabrielle Rotie (UK), Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company (UK), Upswing (UK) and Protein Dance (UK) amongst others. Eleni is currently touring with Tmesis theatre and Gossamer Thread Circus across the UK.

Eleni is the Artistic Director for award-winning company Levantes Dance Theatre recognisable for its quirky visual and theatrical style. (Spotlight UK/Crying Out Loud, Bonnie Bird New UK Choreography Award, The Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award, Marion Mentoring Scheme Award, Choreography for Children's Award).

 As a choreographer, she has recently worked on circus show SOHO (Stufish & Sadler's Wells production) alongside Artistic Director Abigail Yeates and musical Dancing Bear by Jamie Fletcher.

 Eleni has been commissioned to create work for other artists, organisations, festivals, professional and postgraduate companies including:
