Circus Duo Moka is an artistic collaboration between two circus artists, Francisco Javier Hurtado (Cali) and Diana Acevedo (Bogotá) who met in the midst of a global pandemic and put their heads together to make the most of “halted” time by combining their wealth of experience to create a new and refreshing act.
Our new show “Fragmento” is comprised of our hand to hand and circular perch acts –and represents circus as an instrument for change.
Based on Nordic culture, in particular the Viking period, our act represents and embodies the bravery and strength of those male and female warriors and their connection to universal wisdom. “Fragmento” is a ritual where we thank the universe for our warrior souls and the opportunity to perform. It is a treat for the senses, where we invite the public to join us in our ritual and lose themselves in the moment.
