Hi I'm Andrew and I'm a 21 year old circus artist that has been doing circus for the past nine years of my life. I am interested in all sorts of performing whether it's cabaret, corporate, or contemporary, I love it all. I trained Static Trapeze for most of my training life, 6 years to be exact. I enjoy static trapeze but felt like I needed a switch. This is when I came to London and began doing trying other disciplines and branching out. I tried all sorts of things: hand to hand, juggling, (Which I had already done a bit of previously) teeter-board, and hand balancing. I ended up loving hand balancing and pursuing that for the past three years whilst I was training at the National Centre for Circus Arts and now seek to further my career in hand balancing. Back in my home town I always enjoyed learning about how to rig the loading forces and how the different systems worked. I rigged back in my home town for close to 3 years and had a great time dealing with it and learning about hazards and road blocks how to set spacing for equipment and apparatus. I am taking a course with IRATA so I can be properly certified to get a rigging career started.
