Grew up with the love of the circus in my heart and now it coarses through my blood with sawdust and greasepaint. I’m a clown in heart and by trade. I’ve trained at the San Diego Circus Center and graduated through the Ringling Bros Clown College programme (sadly not the original school) and worked for the circus for a bit. I’m currently a member of a local Alley where we do hospital clowning, parades, special events and perform intermission gags for Circus Vargas. I also volunteer for Fern Street Circus as a clown arts instructor. I’ve taught clowning and physical comedy for a few years in various venues, and also as a physical comedy choreographer and coordinator at West Hills High School for their productions. I’m always looking for new ways to further my craft and to share laughter with others. As PT Barnum once said, “the noblest art is that of making others happy.”
