Clownbaret Theater Clown Company, pioneer of the style in the Canary Islands, is born in 2004 as the result and artistic experience of Brian Rodríguez, with wide international projection.

During the years it’s grown to be one of the most representative companies of the island because it works clowning from a classic and pure approach moving and making laugh thousands of people.

Today Clownbaret has eleven years of professional experience and has premier different shows that vary from classic clowning to contemporary physical comedy.

They’ve performed in different festivals, nationally and internationally with special mention to Festival de Pallassos de Cornellá (Barcelona, Spain), Cir&Co, Festival Rodará (Puebla, Méjico), Hijinx Theater Festival (UK, Wales), Festival de Payasos de Arrrigorriaga (Bilbao, Spain) , Festival de Pallassas de Andorra (Andorra), Festival Mueca (Tenerife, Spain) or Invasión Circense (Gran Canaria, Spain)

Since their beginning they’ve worked on two different ways, in one hand they work family shows based on classic clowning and on the other hand they’ve develop international comic theater plays for adult audiences.
