Circus Minimus

Kevin Maile O’Keefe has traveled the world since 1985 to both teach and study circus, theater and yoga. As the artistic director of Circus Minimus he has directed residencies and performances that have touched the lives of over 100,000 children and their families. In 2001 he was awarded an Excellence in Education award from the IJA. He received an advanced Hatha yoga certification in 1991 from the Integral Yoga Institute. For five years he was an instructor at the Big Apple Circus School in Harlem, New York. He is the founder and past president of the American Youth Circus Organization. CM programs include: The One-Man Circus in-a-Suitcase, Teh Circus Kids Creatae, The Circus Around the World and over 200 original them-based circus shows iwth over 10,000 kids in 30 years.

Erin Maile O’Keefe is a certified Kripalu Yoga and Rasa Yoga teacher who has taught movement studies since 1981. Her practice is also informed by her explorations in Viniyoga, Thai massage and dance. Erin is certified in Embodied Anatomy and Yoga from The School for Body-Mind Centering. She is the founding festival director and former vice-president of the American Youth Circus Organization. As co-founder of CircusYoga™, Erin leads teacher trainings and continues to explore balance, partnering, group dynamics, expressive movement and embodiment.
