Cia Circocan

Circocan is a circus company founded in 2003 and operates in several segments: from initiation to professional development in circus to cultural production. TGhe Artistic Company explores multidisciplinarity and metalanguage as a way of combining contemporary circus with other artistic aspects such as: contemporary dance, physical theater and music.

Over the course of more than 20 years, Circocan has established itself as a pioneer in research, teaching and development of the language of contemporary circus in Brazil. Highlights include the Funarte Carequinha Award 2015, Brasil Criativo Award 2016, Edital Pontes OI Futuro 2018, Elisabete Anderle 2020, Lei Aldir Blanc and Paulo Gustavo; in addition to creative projects with Itaipu Binacional, DHL, Grupo Positivo, RedBull and collaborations with Cirque du Soleil, AIDA Cruises, RedCross, World Bank, Harvard, Climate Center, NASA, among others.
