Chris Barnett

My name is Chris and I am an Lyra specialist based in Sydney, Australia. I also have generalist skills across aerial silks and straps as well as a specialty act as part of a duo on acrobatic ground cube. Most recently featured in the Circus cabaret show TENDER at Sydney fringe as co-creator, costume designer, soloist and ensemble. 

I have 8+ years of experience managing a circus training space and coaching classes in variety of disciplines.

Off the stage I am multidisciplined in costuming, music editing, audio-visual design and act creation. My bespoke costumes for circus artists and performers have been worn both locally and around the world in international festivals and shows. Some credits include repeat work with Couture Air, Sydney’s leading company in high end aerial entertainment, 2019 Macau international fashion week and Balmain Paris runway show.
