Chiara Capparelli was born on August 13, 1990 in Milan. She began her artistic career in the plastic and visual arts. In 2011 she attended a make-up and special effects course at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala - Milan. In the same year she attended a jewelry and precious metals course. Between 2012 and 2016 she worked in events, short films and films as a special effects make-up artist.
In 2016, the interest in circus arts and aerial acrobatics grew, attending some short courses. In 2017 she attended a pre-professional circus course at the Piccola Scuola di Circo in Milan, where she participated as an interpreter in various shows and entered the field of animation with stilts.
She has participated in creative processes / artistic residencies and respective shows, such as:
"The Flight of the Phoenix" and "Alice in Wonderland" by Milo Scoton.
“Dreamreaders” and “Clockwork” by Firenza Guidi - ELAN Frantoio;
“Before the Rain” by Roberto Magro;
"Aquerela" a Circo de Papel production by Juliana Moura.
In 2018 she joined the two-year professional course at INAC, in Portugal, which ended in July 2020 specializing in aerial rope and presenting her Solo “Além-Corpo”. She is currently engaged in the artistic creation of a new project "Oro Nero" and "Essencial(mente)".
“I love to create new things. Whether is on the aerial rope, an object of scenography or a jewellry. I love the creative process and especially enjoy the moment to ask myself: what if I do ...? Exploration is what keeps my work in a constant state of fluidity ”.
