CHIARA AMEGLIO

Dancer and performer born in Genoa (Italy) in 1986. Diploma at Academy of Dance and Theater Paolo Grassi. Her key meetings with Maria Consagra (Laban-Bertenieff), Yoshito Ohno (Danza Butoh), Susanne Linke, Lucinda Childs, Virgilio Sieni. She deepens her studies with Yasmeen Godder Company, Michael Mualem (Rep. Sasha Waltz), M. Carroll, D. Hernandez, R. Graziadei, M. Ciappina. She worked with A.Vidach (IT/CH), V.Sieni (IT), D.Abreu (E), Matanicola (D/IL), G.D’Anna (IT/NL), M.Casadei (IT/F). She’s a founding of the company Fattoria Vittadini. Over the years she is confronted with different techniques and approaches to movement (Release, Floor work,contact improvisation, instant-composition, Gaga), looking for versatility, complexity and interest in the contamination of performing arts, landing in 2019 at the her debut as an author with TRIEB_L'Indagine (E. Puccini Theater). It begins the collaboration with Marco Bonadei and the research "Investigations on monstrosity".
