Motivated by dance and gymnastics from a very young age and part of competitive teams in both fields at different times, Chanel began her circus journey at the age of 9 at the National Circus School of Montreal. As a baby, Chanel was already a ball of energy. She had fun watching television with her head upside down, climbing into her bassinet to join her little brother in the other, climbing on the kitchen cabinets to help herself, putting on living room shows for her parents and climbing up the street lamps until her mother called her for supper. After spending 11 years of her life at the National Circus School, Chanel feels a mixture of fear, pride and excitement at the idea of finally joining the professional world. This entertainer finds herself eager to see where her creative and artistic journey will take her throughout her career.
