Cauê Marques graduated from the technical course at INAC (National Institute of Circus Arts) 2023-2024, and from the ENCLO (National Circus School Luís Olimecha) 2019-2021, is also graduating with a degree in Physics Education since 2020. He has been an artist at Cia Corpo at Contramão since 2003, having debuted in theater at just four years old, with the show “A Atrapalhada História do Menino que Nasceu em Belém do Brejo da Cruz”. Since then, he has performed many circus and theater shows, including "O que Teria na Trouxa de Maria?", which received the 2009 Myriam Muniz Prize, from Funarte. With the acrobatic silks circus act "A Vida é Só um Detalhe" he won first place in the selection for a scholarship at the Basileu França school (one of the largest art schools in Brazil) and was selected among numerous competitors from all over the country for the IV International Circus Seminar, at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Having grown up in a family of circus artists, Cauê was in contact with the circus since he was a child and attended several circus schools, such as “Circo Laheto”, “ITEGO Basileu França”, “Esparta Arte e Cultura” and “NUFAAC” (Centro Ampliado Training for Circus Artists) with Cia Catavento. currently studying at CREAT in Valencia.
