Carré Curieux, Cirque Vivant! is a flagship company in the current landscape of Belgian circus.
Founded in 2007 by four young artists, “boys” from totally different backgrounds but all graduated from Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) in Brussels.
Today the company has reached an international reputation and performs all arround the globe (Europe, Canada, China, Russia, Peru, Chili, Japan, Korea, Réunion Island...).

We feel a deep need to create forms of circus that offer anb alternative vision of our lifestyles through reinvented disciplines. Our shows are full of magical illusions and unusual appearances whilst remaining attached to a certain simplicity and close to the public... Always tinged with an insatiable irony!
In theatres, under a big top, on the street or even in churches, Carré Curieux, Cirque Vivant! is a multi-faceted company with a common purpose: to compose one of a kind circus performances without restrictions and without forgetting our frst concern: to create with and for the people.
