Carnival Open Circus Space

Carnival Open Circus Space (Fundacja Miasto Projekt) :

It has existed since 2009. In 2011-2015 Fundacja held the first and the only one Open Circus Space in Poland at that time. Currently, we do not have our own space, but we operate in different spaces. The mission was to promote the art of contemporary circus by organizing artistic events such as performances and cabarets, family picnics, animations in parks and on streets. Selected achievements of Fundacja: in 2016/2017 implementation of the Social Circus without Borders project thanks to funding from the Visegrad Fund (http://socialcircus.eu/), no 21610347 - organization of more than 12 editions of Circus Pedagogy Course - training of over 600 people, - - Organization "Circusology - International Convention on social circus” 13-15 February 2016. Cooperation with theaters, cultural centers in Lodz and Poland - Pinocchio Theater, Grand Theater in Lodz, Light Move Festival 2015 and 2017.

Since 2016 Carnival Open Circus Space is a member of EYCO- European Youth Circus Organisation, which gathers organisations who works with social circus method in Europe.
