Campbell began training Circus Arts in 2014 as a student at The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. At age 11, Campbell started with general Circus Arts foundations before progressing to Acrobatic and Porter training. Campbell went on to specialise in Trampoline, Teeterboard, Hand to Hand and Tramp Wall.
In 2015, Campbell was selected to participate in the creation process for the award-winning show Junk directed by Jodie Farrugia. In 2016, after completing the creation process for Junk, Campbell was cast for the local opening season at The Cube, Wodonga. From 2017 to 2019 Campbell was a valued member of the Junk cast performing in a number of acts including Teeterboard, Tramp Wall, Chinese Pole, Tumbling and playing an original musical score on piano. Junk toured throughout Australia and New Zealand, giving Campbell the opportunity to perform at major regional and metropolitan theatres including the Sydney Opera House. Campbell found a passion for acrobatics at a young age and enjoys being on stage connecting with the audience through the performing arts.
In 2020, Campbell was cast in The Flying Fruit Fly Circus show Time Flies directed by Anni Davey, performing a season at the Sydney Festival. Here Campbell performed as an Acrobat and based Hand to Hand. A valued contributor to the creation process, Campbell was selected to participate in the development of the 2021 performance Tempo directed by Jake Silvestro. Campbell performed a major role in Tempo including Acrobatics, Porter and playing an original musical score on both the piano and violin.
Whilst completing his Certificate 3 in Circus Arts and coaching recreational circus, Campbell underwent Dance classes and was a part of the cast for the show eMerge where he performed Dance, as well as Acrobatics and Hand to Hand. Campbell graduated The Flying Fruit Fly Circus in 2021.
