Blindful is a dance and circus company from Australia. Focusing on inclusive works and themes coming from an interest in disability and the impacts it has on performance. Creating fun, energetic works that are highly physical and impressive no matter what.
Current works include Blindful and My Sight - Their Sight (MSTS). Blindful was performed at Melbourne Fringe 2017, with direction from Debora Batton and won Best Emerging Producer supported by Milke. MSTS premiered at Gasworks Circus Showdown 2017 and made it to the Grand Final. Since then its full length premiere was performed at the Western Australian Circus Festival 2018. It then had a successful 16 show season at FRINGE WORLD Perth. -
Management
Blindful is led by Artistic Director Abbie Madden having been born with a vision impairment (congenital glaucoma and other complications) she knows first hand what it is like living, working and performing with a disability.
