Bill Shannon

I am an interdisciplinary artist by trade and a virtuoso performer by reputation. I have worked as a designer, director, choreographer and/or performer. I have worked with large teams in multiple contexts including circus productions, theater productions, dance productions, gallery installations, night club installations, short films, street festivals and other creative or cultural events. I have won multiple national artists fellowships for my work and been employed commercially at the highest levels of industry. I also am an inventor of specialized crutches for acrobatics and balancing, specialized padding for crutch acrobatics, mobile networked wearable video technology and large scale multichannel video installation kinetic sculptures for gallery and theater contexts. Finally and most critically I am a creative thinker, an idea person, a problem solver with immense capacity for creative and unique approaches to character design, show concepts and audience experiences.
