Until January 2015, I was a figure skater who achieved the highest levels of technical development in skills and dance. Since then, I discovered the art of the aerial hoop while finishing my studies. After graduating from McGill majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology in 2017, I decided to train and perform circus full time and conducted my own experiment exploring the limits of the body and pushing my creative mind. Through residencies with a variety of specialists in art from circus director Ivan Luzan in Berlin, Germany and Rizoma Studio in Ukraine to Burlesque workshops at Sherbrooke Circus School, I trained aerial hoop, aerial straps and unusual aerial shapes ie giant pink sunglasses! I have since continued to develop and perfect skills, technique and artistic expression. I look forward to furthering my journey creating with new people and expressing myself through movement.
I wanted to combine both aerial and figure skating. I took the skates to new heights and made high heel stilettos in-line skates to showcase graceful balance and strength
