I am looking for the name of a female performance form the 1920s. My enquiry is about women who wore costumes that literally worked as a projection surface.
They had rods attached to their arms, and when they “spread their wings”, the fabric of their garment was a literal screen for light and projections. Does anyone know what this kind of performance / garment / look was or is called? Maybe you’ve come across this little spectacle and are able to help. Thx.
