Analog the Company

ANALOG was founded in 2013 by Berliner-by-choice
Florian Zumkehr and his then partner with the
express aim of removing all artifice. Since then the
team surrounding Florian has changed organically,
as new friends joined him and others moved on to

new projects. ANALOG is characterized by authen-
ticity, high technical ability, and direct interaction

with the audience, so as to carry the fun and passion
on stage over to those watching.

„We all know how it felt stepping into a colorful circus
tent for the first time as a child, to be put under the
spell of this magical world. We remember the sweet
smell of popcorn, the mix of sweat and sawdust. We
can still feel the excitement before the curtain opened
or right before a daring trick. We all wanted to run
away with the circus once, but then that idea seemed
a little too lonely after all. Years later we made this
dream come true by simply founding our own circus.
With ANALOG, we want to collect moments and tell
our personal stories. We don't play fictional characters
on stage but rather appear as ourselves. Acrobatics,
music, and performance together become a snapshot
of the moment without any artificial effects. The direct
and continuous response to our actions is what drives
us to keep going. Entirely raw and naive."
