I hold a B.A in Scenic Arts and an M.A. in Theatre and Live Arts granted by the National University of Colombia. I am an interdisciplinary artist, actress and associate professor in the Scenic Arts program at Universidad Distrital, Bogotá-Colombia. My artistic practice and research work are focused on dynamics and connections between subjectivity and the city, body writing, expanded theatricality, public transport and popular/day-to-day urban performances.
As an actress, I´ve worked since 2008 with Vendimia Teatro. In this group our research interests cross the borders of political theater, training for actress and actors, theatrical movements in Latin America, street theater and unconventional spaces, among others.
