AGRO THE CLOWN

Luca Della Gatta began studying circus at the “Carampa”  school in Madrid for a year. During this time he approached the  life of the clown and began to study physical theatre, clowning  and mime at the “Nouveau Colombier” school in the same city,  directed by José Piris, a direct student of Marcel Marceau.  He also had the opportunity to study with Roberto Escobar  and Igon Lerchundi at their mime school in Buenos Aires and  continued with mime at the “Academia arti mimiche” in Turin. 

Graduated in 2014 at the “Performing Arts University”, of  Philip Radice in Turin, Italy. He works with his clown Agro  since 2010 in street shows in european main cities and  international street festivals. 

He worked as a clown for two years in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico  in the show “Rhythms of the Night” where he met and worked  with René Bazinet, historical clown of Cirque du Soleil. 

From 2019 he is part of the Collectif Primavez.

In 2019 he won the 1st Prize (Pave D’or) at the Festival Artistes  de Rue de Vevey (Switzerland) with the show “ImproLocura” and the Children's Prize at the Festival Internacional de Payasos/as Farándula, Valsequillo (Canary Island) in 2023.
