Maria started dance training at the age of eight in ballet, jazz, tap and street dance in her hometown Ösmo south of Stockholm.
During a longer stay in the US 2012 Maria started training aerial acrobatics mainly focusing on aerial silks and rope.
Back home in Stockholm she continued to to train at different circus schools for the following years.
In 2013 while training at the French aerial dance festival she discovered vertical dance on wall and fell in love with the unique style and the challenge of working with defying gravity in the vertical plane.
Maria is also a certified jazz dance teacher in Simonson technique and has studied Sports medicine for coaches at Umeå University.
Maria have choreographed and danced with Damlaget company and teach workshops in contemporary dance and aerial acrobatics.
During spring 2017 she participated as an acrobatic dancer in the play Hemsöborna at Stockholms Stadsteater. She has also performed at various events and participated in TV-productions.
