About
- Founded in 2008, by five youth friends who had seen an urgent need in Katwe slums of Kampala (Uganda) to provide the children and youth with a creative outlet that reduced the temptation of drugs, alcohol and crime. Today, over 120 children are involved with the program and more than 250 kids have passed through the ACT-UGANDA acrobatics and circus instruction projects, with its headquarters in Katwe slums of Kampala, the organization now provides education support to 150 destitute children through its fundraising efforts. ACT performs all across Uganda on local, corporate and national events.
