At Kinetic Arts Center we strive to create an innovative and dynamic circus culture. We offer professional and recreational classes with an emphasis on performance for youth and adult students. As our recreational circus program continues to grow there is high demand for aerial, acrobatics and circus instructors.

We are actively seeking professionals eager to join the the ranks of our locally, nationally & internationally acclaimed teaching staff.

Youth Aerial Arts Instructor (Part-time) – Ages range from 6yrs-Teen
Position(s) available immediately. Weekday afternoon and/or weekend availability required.

We are looking for instructors with strong aerial skills who have the ability to teach proper form, technique, creativity and healthy mental/physical sustainability.

Youth Aerial Arts classes consist of: active warm-up (including strength and flexibility training) and focused aerial training and conditioning on apparatus (static and/or vertical).

Applicant requirements:
*Several years of experience teaching aerial arts (one or more of the following: static trapeze, rope, tissue, lyra, etc)
*Experience with demonstrating and spotting
*Strong classroom management skills
*Availability to coach with regularity and reliability
*Interest in working in a friendly and professional environment that is creative, positive and inclusive.
*Reliable transportation

The following assets are beneficial but not required:
*Basic aerial rigging experience
*Act creation / development experience
*Basic anatomy and movement training
*Current CPR/First Aid Certification
