WARDROBE TECH (Theater)
A Nightmare on Strip Street, the new hilarious and sexy parody of Hollywood+rsquo;s most famous horror and slasher movies, from the producers + director of the hit show The Empire Strips Back, is coming to Denver on July 8th. NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced Wardrobe Supervisor.

OPEN CONTRACT
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
One weekly 4 hour day call (work call) and Saturday 5pm - 11pm (2 shows).
The Wardrobe Tech may be called to sub the Wardrobe Supervisor if needed.
Please note this position is only 2 days a week.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Wardrobe Tech include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintenance and repair of all costumes, masks, prosthetics and wigs during technical rehearsals and work calls, under the guidance of the Wardrobe Supervisor.
Management of the wardrobe stock and costumes, under the guidance of the Wardrobe Supervisor. This includes upkeep of inventory lists and continual organization of wardrobe supplies and costumes.
Acting as a sub for the Wardrobe Supervisor, when needed. This includes the facilitation and execution of performer quick changes during technical rehearsals, performances, and work calls. When acting as a sub, the Wardrobe Tech will also be responsible for the laundering of all costumes post performance.
Candidates must have experience working on a wardrobe crew and working with costume machinery. They must also be proficient in both hand and machine sewing. Experience working with latex, silicone, and foam costumes is preferred but not required.
The nature of the show requires candidates who are comfortable with working in darkened environments. Applicants must be able to stoop, kneel or crouch, and ascend and descend stairs multiple times per show.
All team members must be respectful of others at all times, be safety conscious, and demonstrate a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Due to the sensitive nature of this production we demand a high level of professional conduct.
Please note: Water-based haze and strobing lighting effects are used during rehearsals, performances, and work calls.
