Description:Wardrobe Supervisor:The historic Cape Playhouse in Dennis, MA, the oldest continuously operating summer theater in America, is accepting resumes for a Wardrobe Supervisor for our 2026 Summer Season which includes 5 mainstage productions to be announced at a later date, two concerts, and various smaller events throughout the summer. The rate for this position is $22.00/hour paid bi-weekly. This is a full time position with opportunity for overtime after 40 hrs a week. This contract begins on May 18th and ends on September 27th. There is some flexibility to start and end dates. Housing may be provided. The Wardrobe Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. The Wardrobe Supervisor will be responsible for managing wardrobe for all mainstage productions, supervising wardrobe staff, and acting as a dresser themselves when necessary. The Wardrobe Supervisor will be responsible for advancing all shows for the 2025 season including writing and editing tracking sheets, managing work calls for their team, and obtaining materials/supplies requested by the Costume Designers such as skins, shoes, and pulling stock costumes. They will also be in charge of receiving, maintaining, and returning all rental packages. Ability to perform all basic hand stitching and use a standard sewing machine/serger required. Two years of professional experience is required, and for this role, proven achievement in teaching and/or leadership development is encouraged.
