Position Designation: Full time, hourly Position Reports To: Costume Director Opportunity: Drury Lane Theatre is seeking a dynamic team player who will oversee load-in and setup of dressing rooms, maintenance and repair of costumes, manages wardrobe paperwork using the costume database, and manages wardrobe operations for Drury Lane Productions. Specific Job Responsibilities: +bull; Review script and production details in advance of the tech process. +bull; Recruit, hire, and train wardrobe crew members, ensuring completion of the training process the week following press opening. +bull; Organize all costumes for the costume review process. +bull; Prepare for the load in of costumes for dress rehearsals. +bull; Set up dressing rooms and provide training to crew members to maintain the space. +bull; Maintain wardrobe paperwork throughout technical rehearsals and previews, ensuring completion by press opening. +bull; Ensure costumes are ready for all rehearsals and performances. +bull; Execute wardrobe operations during shows and attend special rehearsals, assisting with costume changes as needed. +bull; Assure all laundry is completed on schedule and arrange for weekly dry cleaning of costumes as scheduled. +bull; Oversee daily costume maintenance and repairs. +bull; Maintain inventory of wardrobe supplies and equipment. +bull; Coordinate the strike and return of costumes during changeover periods. +bull; Implement theatre policies and ensure compliance. +bull; Maintain flexibility in assigned tasks and workflows. Essential Knowledge Required: +bull; 3-5 years of professional wardrobe track experience. +bull; Proficient sewing and alteration skills. +bull; Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities, demonstrating diplomacy, tact, and firmness. +bull; Understanding of, and sensitivity to, diverse ethnic, socio-economic, disability, and gender backgrounds. +bull; Comfortable handling confidential information. +bull; Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. +bull; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Mail/Calendar. +bull; Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. +bull; Ability to work flexible hours and lift heavy objects. +bull; Reliable transportation required. +bull; Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
