Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Wardrobe and Wig Manager to be responsible for the daily delivery of the costumes and wigs for the performance company of 12 for the new immersive Christmas dining experience, The Nutcracker Noir. 5 wks Fixed Term. 6days pwk. £16.6 phr. £200 pday.

Job Description

Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the wardrobe and wigs for the performance company of 12.
To maintain and repair as required all costumes.
To redress wigs as required between shows.
Deal with emergency repairs.
Handling all maintenance work which needs to be carried on and to bring to the attention of the production team any work required to ensure the smooth running of the experience.
Manages and oversees day to day laundry.
Ensures management of the wardrobe department on site to ensure a clean and good working environment.
Assist with dressing and quick changes, if required.
Ensure that safety and good housekeeping procedures for the department are properly carried out

Job Requirements
Previous experience as Wardrobe Manager in a live performance/ theatre environment
Strong sewing and alteration skills.
Quick thinking and calm under pressure, especially during technical difficulties or emergencies.
Strong decision-making skills in high-stress environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
