Description:
American Christmas, LLC is one of the nation’s largest commercial Christmas decorating companies. Our displays and imaginative designs dazzle shoppers and visitors at the most famous retailers and landmark buildings across America. Our decor will be seen by millions of people throughout the holiday season. This is a Seasonal Full Time Position starting in October and ending in January.
Duties:
Assembling and Installing displays at client locations mostly in New York City and the Tri-State Area
Install work includes loading and unloading trucks, working on ladders, working on both interior and exterior d+eacute;cor in all weather
Working with basic hand tools
Removing and packaging displays at the end of the holiday season
Requirements:
Must be able to commute to within NYC
Intuitive ability to think on your feet and problem solve
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other team members
Must be available for a Full-Time schedule including Overnights, Overtime, and Weekends (Including Thanksgiving)
A positive attitude
Keen awareness and attention to detail
Preparedness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
We offer a competitive salary with the opportunity to earn overtime, plus Bonus. This a Full Time Seasonal Opportunity (October– January).

We have changed our strategies as it relates to our install season to protect our employees, clients, and community. Employees are designated to work in small teams with the same team mates, Schedules allow for paid sick time, and more time off to allow our staff to fully rest until their next shift. We are taking cleaning precautions of our trucks, equipment and warehouse very seriously in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. Among other protocols and policies, as an employee you will be required to wear a mask, disinfect your tools and comply with all record keeping in conjunction with COVID-19.
