An exciting opportunity is available for exceptional performing artists. Open auditions will be held in the New Orleans area, seeking highly skilled dancers, vocalists, and versatile singer/dancers. Auditions are scheduled for November 1, 2026, at MOVE Studio 3508 in Metairie, Louisiana. Pre-registration is not required; all talent will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Dancer sign-in will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by vocalist sign-in at 12:30 PM. For vocalists, we are seeking dynamic tenor/baritenor and mezzo/belter voices, typically within the 20s to 30s age range. Tenor/baritenor candidates should demonstrate a powerful stage presence, excelling in pop, rock, R&B, and Motown genres, with the ability to move confidently and adapt to various musical styles. Mezzo/belter vocalists must exhibit a robust belt, a captivating leading-lady quality, and versatility across pop, rock, contemporary musical theatre, and commercial repertoire. Please prepare two contrasting songs from provided selections. Some vocalists may be invited to demonstrate dance ability, so appropriate attire should be brought. Production dancers should be strong, athletic, and possess impeccable technique, distinctive style, and broad versatility. Female-identifying dancers should be between 5’3” and 5’9” in height, while male-identifying dancers should be 5’9” to 6’2”. Comprehensive training in commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop is essential, with tap proficiency considered an advantage. We are also seeking talented singer/dancers who embody both vocal prowess and dance skill. Female-identifying singer/dancers should measure 5’3” to 5’9”, and male-identifying singer/dancers 5’9” to 6’2”. Candidates for these roles are typically in their 20s to 30s.
