Forget Me Not Memory cafe is looking for various musicians for City Memory group at Barbican.
Job Description
Forget Me Not is looking for the following performers
Cellist
Violinist
Harpist
Flautist
Pianist who can play and sing 1950s,60s,70s,80s songs as well as play classical or either.
Accordionist who can play also french music and sing french songs or either.
Sitar player
Sarod player
Tabla player
Harmonium player
Instrumentalists who can play any Middle Eastern instrumental music, or African instrumental music or Chinese /Japanese instrumental music.
Location: Golden lane community centre
Fann st
London EC1Y0RN
Very close to Barbican station
You will be playing in a big hall.
Performance time: 45 mins.
Fees: £70-£160,depending on quality of work,experience and expertise.
Forget Me not memory cafe runs the City memory group every Tuesday 2 till 3pm
We have 30 users attend regularly. They are over 60s, some of them have mild memory issues. We offer them various entertainment regularly from 2.15 till 3pm.
Job Requirements
Must be professional, highly experienced and perform high quality performance.
Must be available Tuesday 2 till 3pm.
Must pay own taxes.
After performance, performer need email invoice for bank transfer.
Job Responsibilities
Must be reliable
Must arrive at least 30 mins before performance
Must provide own backing track, or music or costumes whatever applicable.
We have speaker, changing room and piano.
Must provide any other equipment/instruments that required for the performance
Must complete full performance time.
