Description:You are busy making your own choreography. You dance and roam, toil and sweat, try and rehearse, fall and persever You are almost there. A little bit of scraping, another bit of scrapingWhat if… a professional would assist you with the right advice in those final steps? What if ... an expert could give you customized feedback on your work-in-progress? What if ... after our coaching you would be even stronger in your shoes? And who knows you are even ready to bring your choreography to an enthusiastic audience? What if ... you would register for De Grote Belgische Dansvitrine (Deinze edition)? HOW DOES IT WORK? For 2/12/2019: deadline entries You send in a demo video of your creation or work in progress. We show it to a team of dance experts, who select the projects in which they see artistic growth potential. 02/16/2020: show time Does your show meet the VitrineVuistr rules (scroll down)? Then you get the chance to show your work in progress to strong dance experts. They listen to your story, talk to you about where you want to go and give constructive feedback on your work. But beware: full is full! Are there too many registrations? Then we make a selection in advance based on artistic growth, originality and creativity. For the Christmas holidays you know definitively whether we expect you and your dancers at the show on February 16 (in the Leietheater). Important: every participant in the show receives coaching from an expert, so participating is valuable and an unforgettable experience! 17/02/20 29/05/20: coaching process The feedback team selects ten projects that receive intensive coaching from an expert for a few weeks. This way you work towards a full performance. 30/05/20: your show on Dansvitrine Show yourself and your creation for a full room in the brand new Leietheater! FOR WHOM? Choreographer, solo dancer, duo, group or company? Ballet, belly dance, urban, hip hop, capoeira, dabke, tango or a crossover of styles? Already a lot of experience or have you just come to watch? Are you still fully engaged in your creation process or is your performance almost finished? The dance showcase is all about creativity, enthusiasm and talent development . Everyone is welcome to register! WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? professional feedback on your work Tailored coaching : whether you go to the final round or not, everyone gets advice and coaching a stage and an audience for your performance ARE YOU IN? View our Five Vitrine Rules of thumb. Totally check? Then be sure to register for the fifth edition of De Grote Belgische Dansvitrine! The Five Display Rules: Make sure your demo (at least 5 minutes) gives a good idea of where you want to go. You can safely make a recording of a rehearsal, your show does not have to be finished yet. Your video does not have to be professionally or artistically edited either. A tip: do not film in an outside location, but in a room. This way we get a better picture. Attention: one registration per choreographer. Has your show already premiered? Then the show may be a maximum of one year old. Let your creativity run free! We do not think about box thinking: transcending genre, dance mixed with video, circus or theater, anything goes…. ... except for complicated designs or lighting. Because we want to show different projects in one day, complex changeovers are unfortunately not possible. Register and be selected = participate. So keep February 16, 2020 (show time - max 10 minutes) and May 30, 2020 (show) free, and let your dancers know this too!
