Description:Two female professional contemporary dancers are sought for the feature-length dance film ‘When Life is Silent’ by Áine Stapleton.Where: Zurich and Ascona, Switzerland. When: Summer 2025, with the project to be completed by late August. Deadline for applications: March 20, 2025 (by end of day, CET). One role is for a three-week contract, the other for up to six weeks. Performers should be aged 24–32, with strong contemporary dance technique, improvisation skills, and performance strength. Artists must be comfortable moving in response to text-based or verbal cues. The project will also involve working outdoors in natural environments. The working language will be English. Please specify the preferred viewing times, with the total duration not exceeding 5 minutes. Preferred submission methods: Vimeo or Dropbox link (include password if required) or SwissTransfer/WeTransfer. Shortlisted performers will be invited for a follow-up meeting, which may include a movement session.
