An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Déda team as a Trainee Producer to gain valuable skills within one of Derby’s leading cultural organisations. Déda is a creative centre in Derby specialising in dance, contemporary circus and outdoor performance. We are passionate about developing talent and this is an opportunity to join the team on a bespoke training programme that will provide you with essential skills for future employment in the world of culture.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the arts, is local to Derby City/Derbyshire), interested in career development at any stage of life and someone who is interested in learning new skills. Our activity connects with a broad range of communities and we are passionate about ensuring that our team is reflective of the community we surround.

Our mission is to deliver an exceptional programme of dance and physical performance to as wide an audience as possible and our Trainee Producer will play an integral role in making that happen, working across a variety of departments and projects. We are looking for someone to start in April 2020, and the training programme runs for 12 months.

Hours of work may include some evening and weekend working.
