Description:We are looking for stage technicians to join our touring team!New York City Dance Alliance is looking for touring technicians to travel on our weekend touring events. You will work with the Production Manager and touring staff loading-in and loading-out the show into various convention centers and hotel ballrooms. Along with other show crew, you will run aspects of the event and assist with the overall implementation of the event. Our event is closer to the tradeshow or a corporate event circuit but has theatrical and dance concert elements. NYCDA is looking for skills in a variety of areas. Below are the job responsibilities and basic skills that will be needed to run our event; however, we are willing to train candidates whose attitude fits our team. Position Responsibilities Will Include: +bull; Facilitating the truck dump and push. +bull; Leading Installation of decking and marley flooring. +bull; Leading Installation of trussing, scenic elements and soft goods. +bull; Leading Installation of audio equipment, Midas M32. +bull; Leading Lighting Installation and focus, Hog 4. +bull; Leading Installing video walls. +bull; Running the event (lights, sound and live stream elements). +bull; Facilitating the staff with production-related needs. +bull; Executing COVID-19 compliance cleaning and safety protocols. +bull; Troubleshooting production and technical elements throughout the weekend. +bull; Facilitate load out and truck pack. +bull; Other Duties, as required. Job Requirements: +bull; Comfortable traveling 12-18 weekends per year, including multiple weekends in a row. +bull; 3-5 years Production Experience including leadership roles. +bull; Understanding of basics of all elements of production. +bull; Touring Experience a Plus. +bull; Great Interpersonal Skills. +bull; OSHA 10 certification required, but can provide training. Compensation: +bull; $1200-1400 per weekend depending on experience. +bull; Travel, Food and Lodging Paid for by NYCDA. +bull; All travel miles and points accumulated during travel.
