Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet by Talmi Entertainment seeks an experienced Stage Manager for the 2024 Tour. The dates are November 7th, 2024- January 1, 2025. The tour will visit theatrical venues with varying degrees of equipment, rigging and facility quality. The qualified candidate will be well versed in stage craft and time management. The successful candidate will have experience setting schedules for local union crews, cast, and will be comfortable directing local union crews for load in and load out.

Stage Manager will be responsible for:
Stage Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing dancers+rsquo; rehearsals, children+rsquo;s rehearsals, dance classes and the physical run of the performance.

Stage Manager works as part of the crew and assists the Production Manager in the inclusive supervision of the artist quality and integrity of the production.

Be prepared to interact with the performance attendees, press or other members of the public and wear appropriate Front of House clothing.

Call show cues

Provide daily performance reports using the template provide by The Company. Share these performance reports with the appropriate point of contact.

Manage Crew

Interface with labor at each venue

Stage Manager will work with Assistant Stage Manager(ASM) to provide water, coffee and tea each day of the Tour for all crew members and dancers. Specifically, the Stage Manager will decide if the Tour will use 5-gallon water jugs each day or if the ASM or Tour Manager needs to purchase cases of water for the day.
