TexARTS, a professional, nonprofit Theatre organization located in Lakeway, TX is looking for passionate and talented Teaching Artists to join our Academy roster.

Applicants must have expertise in one of more of the following fields:

Acting, voice, dance (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary), acting for the camera, commercial acting, improvisation, Meisner technique, comedy, stage combat, stage makeup, technical theatre, theatrical design, and musical theatre.

A BFA or BA in Theatre or a related field is preferred but relevant experience will be considered.

Our Fall Academy runs Mondays-Thursdays starting August 26 through November 22 (twelve weeks). Classes start at 4:00 pm and end by 9:30 pm. Classes typically run 60 minutes. Ages 3-adults. You must be available to teach in-person in our facility in Lakeway, Texas.

Please include a professional resume, performance resume (if applicable), and brief cover letter detailing the types of classes you would be interested in teaching in addition to your general availability this fall.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
