Job Summary
Crossroads Live UK LTD and Magic Mike Live are seeking a Technical Swing to join us on the London Production of Magic Mike Live.
Job Description
The Technical Swings will provide cover for all Stage Management and Technical deck plots as directed by Company Stage Manager, including Sound, LX and Automation under the direction and supervision of Technical HODs. They will support the production in all aspects of performances, rehearsals and maintenance where required.
Job Requirements
Experience in large-scale theatre environment.
Knowledge of current Health and Safety guidelines and working practices.
Relevant hands-on professional experience in theatre sound, automation, lighting or stage management.
The ability to adapt, work under pressure and within a team.
Job Responsibilities
Working in collaboration with other departments.
Keeping all sound, automation and lighting equipment as well as props clean and in good show quality condition, as instructed.
Assisting with daily sound, automation, lighting and stage management checks and regular maintenance calls.
Maintaining the working order of radio mics.
Learning all Sound, Automation, Lighting and Stage Management plots and the relevant system switch on.
Responsible for operating the sound, automation, and lighting equipment as instructed and dictated by the artistic requirements and direction of the production.
Attend rehearsal calls and cover runs where required.
Handle emergency repairs for the sound, automation, and lighting equipment.
Keep reference and cue sheets up to date.
Any other duties as may be reasonably requested.
