Description:
Since 2014, the LYNCEUS Collective has been organizing in Binic–Étables-sur-Mer (22) a festival of off-site and in situ creations dedicated to contemporary writing for live performance.
Each year, the Collective welcomes around twenty artists, authors, directors, and actors in writing
residencies (autumn) and creation residencies (June), in the Côtes-d'Armor (22) in Binic-Étables-Sur-Mer. These creation residencies culminate in an in situ theatrical creation festival at the end of June.
Job Description
In collaboration with the Collective team (artistic direction, administration, production and coordination), you will ensure the technical direction of the Lyncéus Festival from 2025.
MISSIONS:
Monitoring of technical and logistical budgetary resources:
Budgetary monitoring of expenses
Management of resources with local authorities and partners (loan of equipment, provision of personnel, etc.)
Management of the technical team and human resources related to the missions:
Supervision and management of technical reinforcements
Recruitment and supervision of a technical intern
Coordination of volunteers responsible for technical missions (in tandem with the show manager)
Technical direction of the festival:
Centralization of the technical needs of the Saint-Jean, the “Village Lyncéus” and theatrical creations
Design, installation and supervision of the “Village Lyncéus”, the central location of the Festival (including the marquee) in conjunction with the
reference members of the organization
Ensure technical contact with the various partners (Town Hall, CD22, Scène Nationale La Passerelle, etc.).
Supervision of the equipment and storage spaces of the Collective
Technical coordination of the dismantling of the “Village Lyncéus” and the various performance sites in conjunction with the
show manager
Guarantee the safety of the festival:
Drafting of the safety notice
Relations with the Prefecture, the SDIS, the Municipal Police, etc.
Description of the profile sought
- Good interpersonal skills
- Rigor, organization and aptitude for teamwork
- Versatility and adaptability
- Mastery of legislation relating to safety in the field of live performance and ERP
- Driving license B required
- Interest in live performance
- Initial experience in the technical management of a festival (optional)
- SSIAP training and “risk prevention and safety for the operator license”
