Job Description
Under the responsibility of the Organizing Committee of the project "C'est pas du luxe!" »And in close collaboration with the technical team of La Garance, the Technical Director will be responsible for the preparation and technical implementation of the festival (About 25 shows, 20 exhibitions, 10 films, 10 workshops, presented in 27 places in the city over 3 days):
Participation in the development of the festival
- Regularly participate in the meetings of the organizing committee
- Participate in the development of the program
Choice of technical locations
- Prospect and validate the possible operating locations
- Create upstream relationships with the partners of the various reception venues: city technical services, theaters, exhibition halls, etc.
- Plan the implementation of the programming on the various sites as well as the technical needs
Management of the technical staff
- Define the needs in technical staff, plan, organize and coordinate the work of the technical team in collaboration with La Garance and the sites of reception
Budget management
- Establish the technical budget and ensure its follow-up
Organization of the technical reception of the program in collaboration with the reception venues and the Garance (shows, exhibitions, films, festival reception venues, etc.)
- Be in relation with amateur groups and artists programmed to welcome them under professional conditions, support them in the formalization of their technical sheet
- Identify, choose the means of transport for sets, lights, costumes, etc.
- Ensure or organize the various technical tasks: general management, sound, lighting, stage, video, assembly and disassembly, security, etc.,
- Supervise and set up signage and reception conditions for the public
Safety management
- Compile technical files, request various authorizations: occupancy of public space, traffic, organize any visits by safety committees
- Apply the regulations in force concerning 'health and safety, insurance, to be responsible for it vis-à-vis the public, teams, artists and participants.
Description of the profile sought

- Experience or marked interest in participatory creations combining amateurs and professionals

- Experience with municipal technical services would be a plus
- Mastery of technical knowledge related to the show and at exhibitions

RESEARCH PROFILE
Holder of a CFPTS or ISTS technical director diploma, you have at least 3 years of experience in live performance technical management and in the supervision of operational teams. You are SSIAP 1 qualified, in show safety and risk prevention.
High availability required from May to September
