DESCRIPTION
Primary Role: Responsible for the overall coordination and management of scenic construction for Waitress the musical, ensuring that everything is delivered on time and all designs are realized within budget. Full-time, Freelance, Temporary, Contract, Seasonal. Periodic evening and weekend work is required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the scheduling and logistics of design and build.
Coordinate between the Artistic Director, designers, and technical teams, including hiring and managing shop staff.
Manage the implementation of scenic build.
Serve as the primary point of contact for production issues.
Supervise load-ins, tech rehearsals, and strike (tear down) after the show closes.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the production process.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with designer(s), drafting(s)
Local knowledge of industry
Experience managing small teams
Strong technical and communication skills
Passion for the arts
Experience in theater or performing arts
