This 75%, 9-month position is ideal for a candidate who desires a flexible work situation with a stable base. Madison, Wisconsin has an extensive, vibrant, inter-connected theater community with many opportunities for picking up additional tech and design work.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Build, coordinate, and strike 2 productions each year
Manage materials purchasing and inventory
Coordinate design, build, and load-in/load-out schedules
Supervise carpentry and electrical overhires and student workers
Maintain theatrical space and all technical systems
Collaborate with Director of Opera on additional projects
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma
Highest level current technical theater knowledge
TD experience including rigging, CAD drafting, and budgeting
