The Chautauqua Theater Company (CTC) Summer Season

The CTC summer season will include fully produced productions as well as several new play workshops and readings. To learn more about the season and the company, please visit theater.chq.org.

Compensation

Starting wage: $16.00/hour

With demonstrated experience and qualifications: up to $17.50/hour

Contract length: up to 10 weeks, beginning in June

Travel stipend provided

Job Responsibilities

Ensure equipment in the theater and shops is functional, maintained, and safe

Supervise crews in coordination with the Production Management team

Assist with coordination of load-ins and strikes

Act as a point-of-contact for the off-site build crew

Attend production and department head meetings

Interface with designers, attend portions of tech rehearsals, and monitor safety protocols

Submit work orders to the Chautauqua Institution Buildings & Grounds crew

Maintain facilities, including:

Hanging/removing building signage and marketing materials

Managing disposal and recycling systems

Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
