Description:

Position Available: Technical Director
Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours

About Cottage Theatre
Cottage Theatre (CT) is a community theatre located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Our mission is "engaging and enriching our community through the magic of live theatre." Now in our 42nd year, CT has grown tremendously since its beginnings in 1982. Initially held under a parachute on the lawn of Cottage Grove’s Village Green, CT later operated from a storefront before moving to a dedicated facility built in 1998, with a Rehearsal Hall added in 2006. The theater was fully remodeled in 2022, adding 50 seats and enhancing public spaces. CT is now one of the leading theater spaces in Lane County.

Producing plays and musicals year-round, CT presents around 80 performances annually. We operate as a volunteer-centered organization with a small paid staff, relying on volunteers to execute our productions. Our offerings include children’s theatre programs and an annual Rhythm & Blues Revue with the local high school. CT is also a member of the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) and one of six theaters chosen to produce a world premiere in the AACT 2024 NewPlayFest.
