Job Description
Cast is Doncaster's only professional theatre, launched in 2013 as the anchor of the city's Cultural and Civic Quarter. In a relatively short time, it has significantly contributed to the cultural life of Doncaster, presenting staged works, delivering participation and outreach activities for people of all ages and experience, supporting the development of artists, offering spectacular outdoor performances, and delivering community based projects. Cast is regularly funded by Arts Council England as a national portfolio organisation and is part of the Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust.
We are looking for a Technical Director to join the team and take responsibility for our Technical department and oversight of all technical functions at Cast. This is a wide ranging post that oversees technical facilitation of our programme, building management, health and safety and production management of our in-house productions (our annual pantomime and occasional other projects).
