Description:Job SummaryWe are looking for two TECH SWING’s, one with LX & Sound skills and one with Technical Stage & Stage Management skills to join the Prod team from 29 September 2025 (the end of the Leeds Playhouse run). This will involve a handover process from the Leeds Playhouse Technical Teams before the UK TOUR. Job Description To Kill A Mockingbird is a co-production between Leeds Playhouse and Jonathan Church Theatre Productions which will open at Leeds Playhouse and then continue on to a UK tour. The post will be one contract with MOCKINGBIRD UK Tour Limited for the UK tour. Key Contract Dates: 29 September 2025 - 4 October 2025 (Leeds Playhouse) 6 October 2025 - 24 May 2026 (UK Tour), with the option to extend the contract for a minimum of 12 weeks to accommodate a West End run. (further details in job pack on Leeds Playhouse website) Job Requirements Experience of working in Lighting & Sound teams, especially radio mic running, and / or Experience of working in Stage Management and Technical Stage Experience of actively participating in get ins, fit ups and get outs. Experience of working shows on stage/backstage, carrying out scene changes and running tracks Ability to work in a team as well as individually Good communication skills A positive can do attitude Calm, confident, understanding & flexible Positive approach to equity, diversity and inclusion, with willingness to train in & develop those areas Job Responsibilities To attend and participate in get ins, fit ups, and get outs as required, including emergency calls particularly if there is a risk of the cancellation of a performance. To carry out good housekeeping, security and safety procedures for the department To contribute positively to a good working environment for all - where everyone feels respected, safe and included. To follow Producers' Health & Safety policies and procedures and other policies at all times, and to adhere to the policies & procedures of local venues where relevant to the production. Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Company Manager or Production Manager from time to time.
