Job Description:

-Responsible for maintaining the level of work that meets the theatre's standards
-Construction of costumes
-Costume alterations and repairs
-Finishing and decorative work
-Organization and cleaning of the costume shop and costume storage
-Laundry duties as needed
-Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

-Preferred: BA or BFA in Theatre Design/Technology with Costume Emphasis or Fashion Design/Construction
-3 years of experience sewing costumes for professional theatre, or in garments construction.
-Proficiency with domestic and industrial sewing machines, and sergers.
-Ability to follow complex sewing instructions and complete work in a timely fashion.
