Description:The Production Assistant is a temporary position supporting the CSSR Stage Management department. The Production Assistant will support the stage management team throughout the rehearsal and technical rehearsal processes.What will you do? • Assist Stage Managers and Creatives with day-to-day production needs, rehearsal operations, and special requests as they arise. • Support pre-production tasks, including updating menu binders, printing and laminating documents, and familiarizing oneself with available resources. • Prepare and maintain daily to-do lists, schedules, and meal forms, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time with minimal supervision. • Maintain an organized and up-to-date supply inventory and coordinate ordering of office and hospitality supplies. • Track all production purchases; label, scan, and file receipts in the designated folders. • Create and manage laminated materials and printed resources, such as contact lists and rehearsal calendars. • Support the preparation and execution of church load-out and venue load-in, including packing, labeling, inventory tracking. • Assist in maintaining hospitality stations (coffee, first aid, water, utensils) across all locations and act as liaison with production for restock needs. • Coordinate and manage daily catering needs for Choreographers, Stage Management, and other designated staff, ensuring timely delivery at rehearsal studios and performance venues. • Provide on-site assistance during technical rehearsals, including coffee/meal orders, refreshing snack tables, completing paperwork, and managing quick communication with key team members. What do you need to succeed? • Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines and financial constraints. • Ability to work weekends and holidays in addition to working regular afternoon/evening shifts. • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills. • Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary. • Must have the ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment. • Experience in logistics in live entertainment or sports environment or similar industry. • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks. Special Requirements: • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without difficulty • Must be flexible to schedule some shifts around the constantly changing production schedule • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (basic formulas & formatting)
